Summer Is Over

It is a bittersweet feeling when summer ends. Fall is my favorite season and I love me some crisp air but summer is so full of light and love, too. It's been a great summer for me, and a very hot one.

I am back from hospital now and feel like singing the word FREEDOM out loud together with Aretha Franklin in her 1968 song, "Think". So here goes:

Calming Blues

The heat wave is over for now but it is still very hot! When the weather is that fierce, I like to look at this lovely blog, Field & Sea, quite approriately nicknamed "a collection of loveliness" and look for calming, cooling hues of blue.

A Summertime Wishlist.

Hello lovelies!

I have started a summer wishlist, and made a new treasury at Etsy.com for that purpose.

aquamarine/turquoise.

walking barefoot in the tall grass.

It is already quite hot here in southern France. Do you dream of summer, too?
